So, if you want more out of them, this is the place that you must go to. The Guest Satisfaction Survey has been designed for customers and non-customers alike. The official survey page clearly indicates that this is a NO PURCHASE REQUIRED Sweepstake and participating in it can be done in any of the 3 ways-

1) If you have visited Toys R Us or Babies R Us recently and made a purchase, you can enter the Survey through the invitation that is printed on the receipt. When a customer participates in the survey like this, he becomes automatically eligible for the Sweepstakes. He needs to log into the official survey site online, enter the 4-digit store code along with the access code and complete the survey within the stipulated time period mentioned in the receipt. One Entry is allowed for every receipt.

2) Any individual who registers with Babies R Us online receives an e-mail within 24 hours which includes an invitation to take part in the Survey. Once he completes the survey, he is automatically drawn into the Sweepstakes.

3) The 3rd method of Toys R Us Survey gives opportunity to people who have not purchased anything from Toys R Us or Babies R Us, or not registered with them online. To participate in the Sweepstakes, the participant must, in this case, log onto http://survey.foreseeresults.com/toysrus and follow the directions to enter the Sweepstakes. This takes the participant to the same landing page that www.Toysrus.com/trusurvey leads to.

The Store, in its official Survey Rules pages, clearly mentions that the Sweepstakes is a fair deal and purchasing anything or not purchasing anything does not increase or decrease the chances of winning in the draw.

In all 3 methods of entry, regardless of any foregoing, a participant is allowed to enter the Sweepstakes only once /calendar year during the period of Sweepstakes.

The full Sweepstakes period is split up into 10 periodic sweepstakes, staring from April 1, 2011 to February 1, 2012. The prize for the Sweepstakes is $500 each for 5 winners who are drawn out randomly from the lot of entrants of the Sweepstakes, at the end of each Sweepstakes period. Winners and their respective households, it must be remembered, cannot participate in any of the future Sweepstake Drawing Period from the store, once they win.

    I was shopping in your Richmond Ave store in Staten Island and Kim P and Mark S went so far above and beyond to help me find a portable DVD that was on sale in your store last week. They were extremely pleasant and patient and helpful. They deserved to be recognized in some way for their strong work ethic. I will be definitely be going back to that store for my holiday shopping for my nieces and nephews.

    I was shopping at toysrus on friday Nov 4,11 i spent well over on hundred dollars, I was supposed to get a ten dolar gift card for next time I shoped there ,but they did not give it to me. I will be shopping there alot in future my daughter is having a baby in spring.

    We want to commend Jason who works at your store in Concord, NC. He was most helpful and most considerate. This is not the case in the employees we have encountered in the Greensboro NC store. Because Jason was focused on customer service, he stood out from the other employees.

    I visited Toys r us’ s Mall Creek Dr. center two times on 5 and 6 Nov. 2011.
    I bought some toys and puzzles from there, we found variety of toys and kids stuff there.
    The staff is very helpful.

    I visited store #5810 on yesterday to do some early Christmas shopping. The store had a lot of foot traffic in and about the isles, but I had not problem locating someone to assist me with locating my items. The young lady that assisted me with checkout was relatively new, and needed assistance from her manager. The manager was quick, responsive, and friendly.

  14. The young man that took care of my purchase was very kind. He had a very pleasant smile. I have had the opportunity on my previous visits of being serviced by this young man and it was always a pleasant experience.

    Went to ToysRUs to check out some Christmas ideas for my grandkids. Of course, I purchased a few items and was helped by a very nice guy. I am sorry I can’t remember his name but he helped me several times located certain items. I love Toys R Us. The store has just about everything a kid could dream of. I will return soon for the rest of the Christmas presents for my little angels.

    Not as helpful as i would have liked i asked 2 sales associates what the hottest new toy for a four year old was . They were not very helpful. It was kind of sad nether one of them acted like they even cared.

    I’m a Grandma that visits ToysRUs with a list that the grandsons want. I was in the toy yesterday (11/15/11) and had no clue where to look for these toys. A VERY NICE worker helped me find all the toys and the ones that were not on the shelf, he went to the back and brought the toys out. He name is Tim at the Fairview Heights Store. The access code is 1111-0521-1830, store 9510. Again Tim made my toy experience an enjoyable one. I use to work in retail and I know you hardly ever get a thank you.

I went into the store to buy one item and came out with all my grandchildrens christmas presents done, I was amazed out the amount of choices that your store has and the prices are competitive if not cheaper than elsewhere. I will be reccomanding Toys R us to all my friends. I don’t know about your other stores but Toys R us at Westfield Miranda is one of the most friendly and helpful store I have been in in many years

    Not sure there is enough space to write about the bad service I received last night in your Springfield, MO store.

    Have tried to call the GM 4 times today, 1st time (Lisa) on hold 23 minutes and told he was on a conference call, 2nd time (Lisa) cut-off, 3rd time (Vanessa) on hold 15 minutes then cut-off, 4th time phone rang 52 times before someone answered (Sharon) then placed on hold …..it has now been 27, 28, 29, 30 minutes. Totally uncalled for……

    I went to shop for Christmas gifts for my grandchildren. Wrote a check, $875 worth of merchandise and the store manager refused my check because my hand writing on the check was to fancy. They returned the check to me, to see if I could rewrite “Toys R US” which I did. Only to have the check brought back a second time, to say they would not take the check, that I had to write a new check. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was busy. One of the sales representatives in the store advised me that this manager was difficult to work with. I feel sorry for the employees….not to mention the customers.

    It costs Companies, millions of dollars in advertising both print and media for a store to bring a customer in through their doors to be treated this way. I have always been a loyal customer but, will have to move my busy elsewhere. In our society today, customer service is a must. Good service you tell no one, bad service you will tell everyone!

    I went to your store today & I am very dissappointed, not only did you not have any shopping bags. I asked one of your mgnt team for help, she just said for me to wait for a few minutes, after 15 minutes the girl at customer service came over & asked how she could help. She prceeded to help by just advising me where to look. Finally we are ready to pay & Iam advised to change to anoyher register on the other side of the store, without even saying please or thank you. The boy who finally took my money did not even say HELLO & or THANK YOU ! I finally get home & the $49.99 dollar toy is INCOMPLETE .

    I went to the West Oaks (Novi) store today. jenn on the sevice was very rude and unprofessional. When I came home the toy I got for my daughter wasn’t working right,so I called to have them hold one for me to exchange,and the lady that talked to me was very rude too. So disappointing.

  36. I WAS IN STORE TO PICK UP A BABY SHOWER GIFT IN PALM BEACH GARDENS ON THURSDAY EVENING AROUND 6:30PM. WHILE, WAITING IN LINE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF NOT TO BUSY THERE SEEMED TO BE A PROBLEM WITH A MALE CUSTOMER WITH HIS WIFE AND EITHER HIS MOTHER OR THE WIFE’S MOTHER, ABOUT A TOY FOR THE (ABOUT 3 OR 4 YEAR SON), WHEN IT WAS EXPLAINED TO THE MALE CUSTOMER THAT THE (TOY) WAS NOT IN THE STORE OR IN INVENTORY WHEN COMPUTER SAID IT WAS. THE MALE CUSTOMER WAS VERY IRRITATED AND MADE COMMENTS THAT WERE NOT NECESSARY. THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND THE CLERK GAVE ALL THE PROPER SOLUTIONS BUT NONE SEEMED TO SATISFY THE MALE. EVENTUALLY, THE MALE CUSTOMER ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER, WHO HAPPENED TO BE GETTING MY GIFT AND BROUGHT IT TO FRONT OF STORE ON HAND TRUCK. THE MALE CUSTOMER WENT OVER TO MANAGER AND RUDDLY INTERRUPTED HER FROM WHAT SHE WAS DOING. WHEN I SAW THE SIZE OF MY GIFT I SAID TO THE CLERK THAT I HAD TO GO OUT TO THE TRUCK TO MAKE ROOM. THE MALE CUSTOMER AND FAMILY WAS COMING OUT OF THE STORE AND STILL VERY IRATE MAKING COMMENTS TO FAMILY.
    THE CHILD WHO DID NOT GET THE GIFT AT THAT TIME WAS VERY CALM AT ALL TIMES.

    WHEN MANAGER WAS HELPING ME OUT OF THE STORE, SHE(KATHERINE) SAID SHE SHOULD NOT GO OUT OF THE STORE, AND I SAID, COMPANY POLICY AND KATHERINE(MANAGER), SAID, SHE WAS THREATENED BY THAT MALE CUSTOMER TO STAY IN STORE.

    THIS WHOLE INCIDENT THAT I WITNESSED WAS HANDLED PROPERLY BY THE EMPLOYEES OF TOY R US AND SHOULD BE NOTED!!!

    I visited the okemos, Michigan store on Nov. 17. I called the day ahead to make sure that the product I wanted was in stock. The manager told me it was and even to see it was on the shelf and in the computer. When I arrived at the store I was told by at least three different employees that the item was not in stock and had been out for some time. I asked them to show me where it would be and there were at least five of them on the shelf. I won’t go back there soon.

    This store is awesome! Came in with my twins to get Santa lists and got setup with a rewards card and wish lists and the associates made everything easier! Best experience in a retail store!     I have an 8 year old nephew and have no idea about what little boys like(I’m 58 and my daughter is 39) I thought he might like the “Air Hogs” RC Helicopter. The young man I talked with was most helpful about what I should purchase for him, It turned out it wasn’t the most expensive one of the two I picked out, he even took the time to explain why.

  44. On Sat Nov 26, 2011, I had a very positive experience in the Manassas, VA, store. I was unable to locate a special that had been offered for a limited number of hours in the post Thanksgiving Day sale. Two exceptional clerks, “Debbie” and “Keenan” assisted me. They provided excellent service. Debbie walked the store perimeter with me and checked the product aisle. She asked Keenan if he knew where the product had been moved. He joined us for the search, and located a large unopened box above all of the product displays. He cheerfully brought it down (neither Debbie nor I could reach it), opened it and handed me the item. Great customer service from 2 sales associates! Seldom do associates provide such assistance; the norm is to “point” the customer in a direction with NO additional followup. Needless to say, I bought the item and look forward to gifting it to my granddaughter.

    I was extremely displeased with the service I received at the Eugene, OR store. The prices listed in the ads were not marked on the shelves, and the ad had been out for over a week. I asked 3 different associates where to find different things in the ad and 2 of them didn’t know and the 3rd said she would find out and just left and never came back. The store didn’t have half the items that were listed in the big book and the employees didn’t seem to know what was in the ad at all. I did still receive the savings but the experience was not worth it. I work in customer service and know how to treat Paying customers. I should not feel like im burdening employees when I have a question. It is their JOB to assist me, that is what im paying for when I shop at Any store. If I should ever need anything else from toysrus I will not go to the store but would rather purchase what I need online.

    I visited store 8373 on Sunday 11/27/2011 in order to retrieve items I’d placed on layaway. My exprience was not the most pleasant. I was ignored by most of the staff initially and no one behind the counter seemed well informed. One staff member, Jessica Cardona was actually the most helpful. She was quite efficient in helping to locate the items which were considered lost and answered questions which the first associate could not. Also the store manager much to my surprise (really lacked people skills) made a comment that really bothered me. While waiting to complete my transaction another customer was in line holding an infant (waiting for assistance) was totally ignored. Customers that came in after her were assisted. I went to the store manager(unaware of his title) and asked if he could assist this customer, his response was oh ok I thought she was with that crew. First of all I don’t consider my son , daughter and myself to be a crew. The tone and his remark rubbed me the wrong way. I was very disappointed with this visit and it will take me awhile to get over this.

    I was there with my daughter, shopping for my grand children. We were waiting in line out side for approx.5 hours and the security and managemant kept a watchful eye on everyone. Once inside,the staff were very helpful and courteous.We were looking for an item and the staff person took his time and went all over the store trying to fnd the item but when it could not be located he was very appologic and we bought a different item. We will be back in line next year.

  50. Cheryl at the kenwood store in ohio was very helpful, she took the time to find an air swimmer and the helium tank, from the ware house. She saved me a trip back to the store and was very friendly. You need more people like her.

    i am a happy customer every time i go to toys r us. i have two children my oldest is 7 and my youngest is 3. everytime i go to the store they want everything is like there is wonder land. im always helped and always satified with the items that i purchase. just purchased for my daughter the nintendo ds3 for christmas and i tried it and loved it…. i dont know what i would do with out toys r us….the best toy store and kid store.

I went to your Auburn store today to purchase some of your sale items, first of all I was over charged on my bundle and then when I called the store to complain I was on hold for 10 minutes, so I called back and now there phone is busy, they must have taken it off the hook. I’m not too HAPPY!!! Wish I never went there,and may I say It’s a 45 minute ride to go back to talk to the manager, and by the way the store is mobbed with customers, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

    My order was not big just 5 gift cards for my little munchkins. The young lady was helpful, and cheery, and she enjoyed her job.
    Being in retail, I know how much at times little things can be wearing. But I always say dont let the little things spoil your day, and try to make at least one person smile, it is contagious.
    The store is clean, and well knowledge people you have in your employ.

    A couple of days after purchasing several gifts for my grandkids at the Toys R Us on Contra Costa Blvd., in Pleasant Hill, CA, I came to the conclusion that I had possibly been overcharged. I took just my receipt into the store and an extremely nice customer service representative by the name of Valerie did everything in her power to make sure that I had a great shopping experience at your store that day. Even though the place was the expected “mad house”, it being only 2 days before X-mas, she was really warm and efficent and went above and beyond the call of duty to help explain the problem and remedy the situation. I left promising myself that I would compliment her in writing to “the powers that be”.
